I’m back from Veldhoven in Holland, where I visited the Open European Quilt Championships.
There was a beautiful –big- exhibition, some fantastic guests with their quilts, and 64 (!) shops.
In the coming days, you’ll see here my favorites, my ‘coup-de-coeur’, but right now, I’ll let you share a little in my joy of spending money -;)
First of all, there was this gorgeous pure wool, such beautiful yarn … I know, it’s a quilt-exhibition and I find wool… but, yeah, again, I couldn’t resist the temptation.
And in the booth situated just next this yarn shop … some beads in leather to make a necklace that goes with the future knitted sweater.
Remember the yarn I bought at Creativa in March … it’s knitting sooo smooth and nice.
And, because there was an exhibition of Irish tweed quilts, and I love the warm and cozy feeling of it, I bought some woolen fabrics …
And at the exhibition of Indian quilts … I found this: the blue-red-white is the one I bought; the green embroidery is a gift from Liliane (huge thanks!!!!!xxx).
When I came home, I got from my daughter this wonderful bouquet and I instantly put it on the new little napkin.
And for the little one to come … these buttons for a jacket, or what else I’ll knit …
Hope you all got a beautiful mothers’ day!
